What category does her exercise fit cardo or strength? My wife does the workout and wants to know or is it kinda both?

    I do the JM 30 Day shred and enter it under general aerobics.

    If it is the 30DS I enter it under cardio as either circuit training or aerobics. Try not to count on the MFP calculator for calories burned as it drastically over-estimates!

    I also do it under circuit training and totally agree it WAY overestimates. Don't eat all those calories back if you log it as circuit training.

    I log mine under cardio because that's her goal to implement aerobic activity into her circuits. If your wife gets herself a Heart Rate Monitor with chest strap she can have it count the calories she's really burning by doing JM videos. I have seen MFP overestimate my cals by way too much.

    Before I got my heart rate monitor, I would log it under circuit training, general. I know a lot of people say it over-estimates but it actually was spot on for me.
