30 DS Questions

Hi Folks,
I workout with a PT 3 days a week and do Zumba 3 days a week and walk every other day.
I have seen a lot of you doing 30 DS. I downloaded level 1, 2, 3 and have a few questions as a manual does not come with a download haha.
Should I do the workout everyday even if I workout with my trainer? On days with my trainer, I also have Zumba. Should I add the third workout in there or is it ok to skip 30 DS on those double workout days?
What weight size do you use or is it just a personal preference?
Any other thoughts are appreciated

1. You can do it as often or as sporadically as you like. If you feel too worn out on those other days, then don't worry about skipping it. Also, make sure your body is getting some total rest days in there too!
2. As for weight, I would say start out light. I think I started with a set of 3lb weights and a set of 5lb weights to switch up depending on the exercise (heavier for chest flies, lighter for lateral raises, etc), but I ended up using the 3lb on all the exercises through level 1 and partway into level 2.
ETA: It may seem really light, but since you are doing compound moves at a fast pace for a full 60 seconds, your arms can wear out fast if you are newer to exercising.0 -
I do the video about 3 times per week, I like to change things up often because I get bored so easily.
On the weights I use 3lbs & 10 lbs. I use the 10 lbs. on the chest fly and the 3 lbs. on all the rest.0
