need friends! need to lose about 20 pounds

Hi everybody! I just joined and would love some friends to help me get motivated.

I've been trying to lose the same 20 pounds for a few years now. I had a baby 6 months ago and I was able to lose the 40 pounds I gained while pregnant, but I was a little overweight before and can't seem to get the rest off.

Any tips to lose the last 15-20 pounds to get back to a healthy weight?

    hi! im sierra and I've been on MFP for over a year and have lost over 70 pounds, have about 10 left to go. i would love to be friends! i log daily and check in to see my friends updates every couple hours (: add me if you like! (this goes for everyone else too!)
  • I've lost 53 lbs. in the last year thanks to MyFitnessPal and cutting down on fat grams. You can do it too. My wife is making low fat tasty food and I'm not starving at all. I didn't need to exercise any more than I normally do either. So try budget yourself to say 40-43 grams of fat per day and track your meals with MyFitnessPal and you will get to your goal without killing yourself or denying yourself either. Practice some food and ingredient substitutions and find some new recipes. My wife makes a killer Meatball and Kale soup. And it's low in fat! I know you can do it. Cut out the fast food and the fat foods too and use MyFitnessPal to plan what you eat. And get to it. Use discipline not denial and torture to rid yourself of extra unneeded pounds. You'll get more energy as a result. You'll need it to chase toddlers.

    Hi! And welcome to myfitnesspal. I had a baby 7 months ago so know how you feel about trying to get rid of the extra weight. I've been back on here for the last 3 months now and have lost over 20lbs just following the myfitnesspal plan so I'm sure you can do it too. Feel free to add me if you'd like support/encouragement :)
