I've been going to my gym for 1 year now. In that year, I've lost 33 lbs. and 14 inches overall. I was a size 18 and now I'm a good size 14 (sometimes I get lucky and it's a 12). I can jog for 2 miles, I never thought I would see that day. I could almost bench press my 23 year old niece. My cholesterol is down, my blood pressure is down and my husband thinks I look better than I did at 19 (he saw pictures). I can honestly say this year has been about getting myself under control and it's soooo worth it. It's a work in progress and I'm looking forward to the future.

I'm not good with posting pictures but you can see my progress at

Good for you! :drinker: That is so awesome! I can't wait to see where I'm at in one year. And in another year for you! I bet you'll be able to do half a marathon in a year.
