What’s the big rush?

Every day we are in a rush for one thing or another. Rushing to work, home to the kids, to go shopping, to go the gym, but sometimes we need to slow down. Take a breather, enjoy the sunshine, smell the roses, eat some bacon & just enjoy those small moments we will never get back.
Now you must be wondering why I’m saying all of this...I’m saying it because we do not need to rush weight loss. We didn’t get fat overnight and we damn sure aren’t going to get fit overnight. Slow and steady wins the race, sure you can run like hell, but you are bound to have to walk at some point or another.
Take it slow. Eat right, exercise and still make time to enjoy this life we are given.

That's what last weekend was all about for me. Dancing, drinking, eating (surprisingly after I logged it wasn't soooo bad) and hanging out with friends. I can't be that bad every weekend but I really needed it.0
