Exercise and Calories

I need some real advice here. I am supposed to be eating 1200 calories a day, which I am. I am also exercise, which adds so extra calories to my intake. Should I be eating those extra calories, or just sticking to the 1200? I don't want my body to think I'm starving it and not lose, but I also don't want to start eating the extra and not lose. I honestly don't know how this is supposed to work.

Yes you are suppose to eat the calories it adds to your goal for exercise.
It isn't "extra", it's allowing you to keep the same calorie deficit as if you didn't exercise, which is safe and sustainable.
1200 calories eaten no exercise = 1200 gross calories
1200+ 400(exercise)= 1600 gross calories
These are the same because....
1600(gross)-400(exercise)=1200 NET calories.0 -
Thanks for asking the question, I am also wondering the same thing0
