Hey eveyone! I really need all the motivation and support I can get to reach my goal. I've tried many times to loose weight but i always end up stopping for one reason or another. For instance, I'll start doing crunches and push ups everyday then some how it just fade away when I'm not getting results as fast as i would like or I'll join a gym then make excuses for not going regularly then I'll end my membership because I feel like I'm wasting money if I'm not actually going.
But this time I feel different. I feel more committed to staying within my amount of calories for the day and working out at least 3 times a week. MFP has been a tremendous help far as helping me stay on track with my calories and workout. But I need that extra push. I want to not only lose weight but to keep it off. I need help with different foods recipes, ideas and just that support. I really want to succeed this time!

Its easy when you know how.
Make a plan.
eg make a list of all the exercises you think of.
then make a list of all the foods you like
then make a list of all the foods you think are good for you.
then mix the lists up and find a way of life to sustain what you are doing.
then ask questions, even if they are silly or search google etc.
Its the thought process that comes firstt hen execute the plan. hope this helps0 -
I was in the same boat! The hardest thing for me is just sticking with it. I wanted results immediately and that didn't happen (shocking, right?). After the first couple weeks the number on the scale started to decrease and eventually the lbs lost kept adding up. I started to feel more confident, and that feeling has been my motivation to stick with it.
I also lurk around the MFP forums a lot-- they're very encouraging.0 -
You are more than welcome to add me as a friend! I am on daily, and I strive every day to help motivate and encourage my friends!0

@Riverwiz Thanks I really think that would help. That's what initially brought me to MFP, I read that you should write down everything you eat or add an app that does so I chose MFP. Great advice on writing down what I like and what I think is good for me. That will definitely give me some variety. Thanks for the advice!0

My husband is a Beachbody Coach and he is starting a 30 day challenge group on September 23, 2013. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and definately plan to follow the program (as much as I can). The accountability and structured fitness/lifestyle change is wonderful and super motivating. Here's a little information on the group:
"ARE YOU READY TO GET IN SHAPE/BE HEALTHY?! I’m starting a Beachbody fitness challenge on 09-23-2013 for those who invest in themselves and make a commitment to get in shape! For 30 days straight we’ll be working out, eating clean, and keeping each other accountable! I am looking for approx. 10 people who are ready to make a lifestyle change to get in SHAPE and be HEALTHY! If you are interested in joining the challenge group, like or comment on this post and I will message you more information about the group!---Jeff"
LIKE his facebook page for more motivational tips, photos, and more! Beachbody really does help!

Im in the same boat and I hate it. Eating healthy and doing sports for like 4 weeks lost 2 kg in a month and then getting sick or just too lazy or too busy or whatever....but honestly I would have time to work out, at least 30 min a day. itss aaaarr I dont know.0
