Looking for 35+ Geeky friends

I'm new to MFP and looking for geeky friends 35+ who are into Anime, Scifi, Star Wars, cosplay, going to the conventions, and all the awesome geeky stuff. I'm a married, 37 year old mom of an 11 year old. I'm looking to lose about 80ish lbs and do it the healthy way. No more fad diets for me.:noway:
I just want to be able to motivate others and be motivated by other's successes.:drinker:

I find it easier to relate to the 35 and up geeks although I do have a few 20-something friends that I click with. I find that I lose weight slower in my 30's than I did in my 20's and my life goals are completely different now than back then. Don't know if I'm going to find what I'm looking for but here goes nuthin'!
