Asian Inspired Soup

i just made a delish soup
it's a staple for me. i even have it with a piece of bread and it's all under 500cals. it has protein from the egg i put in it so i have tons of energy and it tastes great! check out my food log lunch today for the ingredients. i also add ginger and garlic.

well i made it up so i'll tell you what i did
i heated up a pot on the stove with some sesame oil (just a lil cuz it's high cal) and some minced garlic and ginger. i added some chopped celery, onion and mushrooms with a lil cracked black pepper and cooked it well. i then added about 2cups of water overtop and threw in some chopped boy choy, frozen peas and brocoli. to flavour the water i added about 2tsps of concentrated beef broth (bovril) or sometimes i use miso paste, and a lil soya sauce and hot sauce with cilantro and green onion to garnish
i also stirred in a beaten egg near the end to add protein. enjoyyy!!! 0 -
