What should I wear to a wedding?
I haven't been to a wedding in a while and I have one coming up in a week, but I am a bit lost on what kind of dress to wear. Basically, it's a September wedding in Minnesota (not sure if that part matters) and it will take place outside.
What colors are best? What colors should I avoid wearing? What's the best length?
Any advice is appreciated for you seasoned wedding-goers out there!

They love it! Team it up with a veil and carry some flowers :flowerforyou:0 -
I wrote an article about it some days ago -I'm a fashion blogger. Here are some tips. Hope it helps!

Hawaiian shirt and Daisy Dukes are the current thing. But, the fashion world is fickle and this might change.0

Is it a theme wedding?0

Simply put, I'm a fan of wearing a dress to a wedding. While I agree with most of the blog, I would say pair the dress with some boots, especially with it being outside.0

Last time I went to an outdoors wedding, it was at a gorgeous park and nice soft grass. I wore a long flowy skirt and no shoes
The preacher got a huge kick out of it and most people complimented me on it.

White dress AND one of these. Also, keep motioning to the groom in that "hurry up and come here I have something important to tell you" kind of way.0

Colour depends on your colouring - what colour are your eyes/hair? What skin tone? Find colours and tones that match or complement your hair and/or eye colour. Try things on and see whether you glow back in the mirror, or look sick!
What style, depends on your body shape - here in the UK we have a fashion journalist Gok Wan who's ace at advising women about body shape and what suits - just google him or search him on Youtube - he did a programme here called How To Look Good Naked and loads of tips about flattering your body shape in those! Or look up body shape - there's loads of guidance out there. It's all about flattering your assets and disguising the rest.
For Sept, why not go for a combination - suit or something with matching jacket so you can cover up outside and shrug it off indoors? Or something flowing with a pretty pashmina over your shoulders?
But you can wear absolutely anything! Have a wonderful day!
I take photos of myself in changing rooms and look at them together later to help me choose things.0
