Ever had one of those days...

Where you don't really want to eat anything, just drink stuff? I don't mean alcohol, but regular drinks. I forced myself some food this morning (not healthy either, as I'm sure some of you will look at my diary) but all I really want to do is drink stuff, nothing seems appetising to me besides the drinks in my fridge.

I'm hoping that by dinner time I'll actually be hungry but if I'm not, what do I do? Should I make myself eat something? (Also I don't always log the water I drink, but I drink plenty of fluids [sodas are rare, so is alcohol] so I don't think I'm dehydrated)

go with how your body feels, sometimes its our best guage on what to eat. One day is not going to harm anything i dont think. maybe you are getting the flu or something.

I believe when your body gets hungry, it will tell you strongly!!!

if you dont have hunger for a while then call the doctor. Unless you are anorexic, i wouldn't worry about a day of not being hungry.

I feel like that when I'm coming down with something. Listen to your body and maybe try to get some extra vitamin C.

If you really can't stomach "real" food today, I'd try to at least make a shake of some sort. Get some milk, protein powder and fruit and have that instead. That way you will feel full, get the nutrients you need, and not have to actually chew. :)
  • Thanks for the tips, guys :)

I ended up being hungry later on in the evening and ate a little chicken and some fries. I might be coming down with something, my throat is sore and I keep coughing up mucus (although that could also be from my allergies) but I think tomorrow I'm going to stick with water, maybe some toast or soup or something and see if it blows over this weekend.

    Flu :)

sometimes food you eat when your sick tastes great anytime, even when we are well, we often want to eat light.. you'll be ok.
