When Do You exercise? Morning, During The Day Or At Night? And Why?

    Both. I work out in the morning before work and in the evening after work. I think its just convience and time management for me.

    whenever I can... but I try for the mornings, as I tend to have more energy then.
  • Tai chi in the morning.
    Walking/cardio/weights towards evening.
    Tai chi in the evening about 1/2 an hour before bed

    Why - I like the way tai chi makes me feel and it works the kinks out.
    Everything else when I have spurts of time in the evenings after work.

    It depends on how I'm feeling but I prefer to workout right before lunch. That way I can refuel my body with yummy foodies. It's also not too crowded. I also love working out at night. I just love the night life. I'm motivated to get stuff done at night.

    Whenever I can but, I try mornings because that's when there's less annoying people to piss me off.

    Either early in the morning (8-9am) or after lunch (12-2) because the gym is pretty empty. I never go in the evenings because its packed and i hate waiting.

    immediately after work (or school) & before going home. if weekends, ~3-5 pm.

    swims in late evening (9-10), more to relax than anything

    have felt most uncomfortable when forced into squeezing it into the am (am stiff & not fully in control of body in the first hour of waking). & lunchtimes never worked.

    I have heard that it is best to go in the mornings to get your blood pumping through out the day, but I am NOT a morning person, so I normally go in the evenings, except on weekends and then it is dependant on my daughters napping schedule.

    Monday thru Friday I work out after work in the evening because I don't want to get up earlier to do it in the morning. Saturday and Sunday I work out in the morning because I have the time.

    My first choice is morning as I am an early bird. Beach walks with my lab are better when there are less people for him to disturb and gym is often quieter. The sea is normally full of people playing later in the day so serious swimming is easier in mornings. However, my fencing club meets in the evening so I have a mixture.

    Whatever works with my schedule on a given day. I usually work out after work on weekdays, but sometimes I can get to the gym during lunch. On weekends or holidays, sometimes I go first thing in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon.
  • Mornings, it is when I have the most energy... If I wait until the evening it just doesn't get done..
