having trouble reaching calorie goals?

I've been having trouble reaching calorie goals...
I can only seem to make it (to stomach, actually) around 500 calories at most daily and I burn about 450-500 through exercise everyday. It's due to my medications which make me lose my appetite and not think of food, and actually I don't even enjoy food as much anymore or even think of it until it's almost time to eat again. I eat every 23-24 hours...I can't seem to eat inbetween because I am not hungry and feel sick if I do try. I'm aware this is unhealthy, but also because I'm recovering from an ED (developed one last june, then gained it all back plus some in september) this is extremely hard on me and I actually enjoy it even though I'm aware it's not healthy, I've gotten to the point where in a week I dropped about 11 pounds...I used to be "proana" but now I just want to be toned (not ripped, not looking for those hardcore abs, just soft and flat, i think I mentioned that on my post yesterday) slightly curvy and healthy...but I'm not sure what to do....
This morning I had a small apple, 12 oz of "skinny coffee" and a cliff bar and it was extremely hard to finish it....should I try spacing them out instead of eating it all at once? but then I'm afraid I wont have the energy to do my exercises..

This is something to sort out with professionals, not strangers over the internet.0

You need to see some health professional s to address your ed issues. Unless there are addressed you won't get anywhere by the sound of it0

I found that blending things into my protein supplement help ALOT! bananas, seeds, berries, yogurt etc
Also Google nutrient/calorie dense food.0 -

Professional help is obviously a good start but the OP doesn't have to suffer in silence, I think it was very brave of her to reach out.0 -
I'm no professional, but if I were in the situation, I'd set an alarm to remind me to eat, even when I'm not hungry. Eat eat eat. Make it as tasty as possible so it's not such a chore. And take vitamins. They're not as good as what you'll get from food, but they're better than nothing if you're so low on calories. I've read several times that you should take your vitamins with food that has fat in it. It's supposed to help absorb the vitamins.
But really, the advice above me is better. Speak with your doctor!0 -
not to seem rude, but the first two replies, yes, i know, but I'm almost fully recovered (by my own will) I want to eat a BIT more like the basic goal, I just don't know how, and I thought maybe you guys could help me out, when I mean it's hard for me I mean I have maybe 2 thoughts per day "maybe I shouldn't eat this" and that's when I'm already halfway full....because I've heard that I won't lose weight if I'm eating so little and exercising? and thats what I want to do, lose a bit of weight and get toned, so I'm worried, I don't wanna be boney...0

This is a good idea! Let's add peanut butter and healthy oils to those shakes also. Canola oil is my personal favorite oil.0 -

also, the problem is before I was put back on my medication I had INSATIABLE hunger, and I could not stop eating...I was gaining a pound a week, but I'm guessing it's because I was kept being put on and taken off of the medicine and going from 350 cals a day to 2000+ calories a day back on forth, but I'm planning on staying on this med because I've been on 6 different ones and I've never really had a chance to feel them out aka been on them longer than 2 weeks because I'm either hospitalized and they change it or for some other reasons. I can say I'm feeling much happier now, and I want to stick with it, I'm just concerned when I go back to the doctor for my checkup (I was 127 last thursday, granted I was really bloated and had to use the bathroom....) and now I'm guessing I'm about 117-118.(decided not weighing myself til the first, but 3 days ago I was 118)...I'm afraid she will want to take me off the medication. I don't think "Well I'm eating right and exercising a lot" will suffice for my reasoning....0

i used to make shakes all the time when i burned 1200 cals and ate 1800, but my blender is broken and i'm going through a rough situation with money right now0

I bought a Hamilton Beach single-serving blender at Target for less than $20. It's lasted 4 years now and I use it at least every other day. I understand being in a tough financial spot, and $20 IS a lot to someone going through it, but it's worth the investment.0

yeah, basically due to my mental illnesses (i'm getting on disablility soon) and I'm basically dependent at 19 years old on my father and grandparents I have no income and I only feel comfortable asking for things on the first of every month because that's when my grandma gets her check, so I'll probably ask for that, on top of that my dad is going through a divorce, he has to pay money for things he's screwed up on and my grandpa is really sick and his hospital bills are through the roof, kids in the neighborhood apparently hate my family for some reason and screw up out house and cars with dents in our cars and flattening the tires, so money goes to that too.....I feel so helpless useless and bad, because of this though I told my dad I'm planning to TRY out a job by January....0
-
oh, also for adding so much, but another reason my grandparents don't spend money on stuff I need like (contacts, I'm going blind, I can't want tv, the computer hurts my eyes, but I'm stupid and I'm addicted, so whatever my fault) because when she goes shopping she spends an average of 800$ and buys 5 packs of coke, 2 packs of pepsi, a bunch of snack cakes, regular cake, basically everything bad, and everyone in my house is morbidly obese and it makes me sick and also scares me because I don't want my dad to die......because he has diabetes and my mom already passed away 2 years ago..0

I used to work with disabled adults. I'm not going to tell you what you NEED to do, because only you can know that. But I can say that it sounds like you should look into new living arrangements. Even on disability, you can live alone. Get yourself a case worker who can check in on you. You can get food, room, and board benefits. You can most likely qualify for a nutrionist's help to create grocery lists specifically geared towards you. Your grandma probably thinks she's helping. Junk food is tasty, and you need to eat. So she assumes junk food will tempt you to eat, no realizing it's having the oppositve effect.0

i just dont know about transportation, I guess I'll walk or ride a bike because I don't know how to drive because when I was younger my mom drove drunk and we've been in so many accidents and almost died once it has scared me to death, but I will do it..soon..i'm thinking of moving in with my fiances family atm..0
