Over 26 lbs gone so far... Where can I get a dress to show i

Christmas is coming... Since I started my diet on June 21st I lost 26.5 lbs and went from a tight fitting size 18 jeans to a loose fitting size 14! I have a goal to lose 15 more lbs and be in a 10-12 by Christmas.

So I am looking for a really cute, sexy dress to wear for Christmas. I have been looking around online but I honestly have not ever been a dress-wearing kinda girl. My hubby loves me in dresses so I figure I should show off my success in weightloss around Christmas. Anyone have any ideas of where I can look?

Then I need to lose atleast 20 lbs from Christmas to the end of March/ beginning of April for My vow renewal in May. I am hoping to fit into an 8-10 when all is said and done. Hope I don't lose my "assets". (boobs) :0) lol

    The Dress Barn has dresses for a pretty good price. Sometimes you can find nice dresses at Ross. I acually found a nice black formal for my sister's wedding there for 17.99! If you don't mind paying a higher price, go to Dillard's. They always carry quite a few. Good job on the weight! Good luck!

    congratulations and keep up the good work. don't look on line, the thrill is going to the stores (Mall) and trying them on and see what complements your figure. Very important take a very, very supportive friend and don't depend on opinions from the sales people.

    Ps: If you haven't loose them yet (your assets) LOL, it might be a safe bet that you won't.

    Super awesom ideas. Thank you all. Keep em coming though. I have not had to shop for something positive in nature in a long time and I hated shopping before since it seemed I could never fit into the nice stuff. I finally can start to enjoy shopping.

    I would try Macy*s... most of them have very helpful sales associates, and you can even get someone to put outfits together for you!

    I'm an ebay addict, I've had some fabulous bargains from there, you can get really nice dresses at a fraction of the prices in the shops and most of them are brand new!

    Well, I am in a semi loose fitting size 12 now. I am up to 32.5 lbs lost! I have over a month to go before Christmas so I need to see if I can lose another 6-8 lbs. before I go get a dress.

    Great job! If you still have rather large boobs, try www.bravissimo.com - they have amazing holiday dresses. I can't wait to be confident enough to wear a dress, preferably one without sleeves or with very short sleeves...
