Weak immune systems?

I have a question for all of those who have lost.weight. A little information i guess, I am about 12 pounds from being in the healthy range of my bmi and i dont track my food, I eat until I'm full i work on my feet 4 days a week and do light to moderate exercise. Anyway what I'm doing seems to be working for me I lose a pound about every week to two weeks and I'm okay with that. I have lost about 48-50 of the pounds in total I've lost this year. I had gotten down to 185 plateaued gained 20 pounds back last year in september October due to losing everything in a flood but in january i stared getting back on track. Back on subject; I seem to be getting sick or slight colds more often now that I'm closer to being a healthy weight then when I was obese, my mods swings have also seem to have gotten worse. I know there probably isn't doctors on here but has anyone else experienced similar problems? If so what did you do (if anything) to help it and is this just somethig "healthy" weight people have to deal with? Thank you for your replies.

Same here... 10 pounds till in "normal" BMI range and catching everything aswell.
Also finding it so much colder than normal ...likely the loss of my cosy insulating blubber!0 -
Even if you stay within your calories, but it's not a balanced diet, then that can definitely affect your health, your moods, & your immune systems. It wasn't until I started tracking that I realized I was hardly ever getting enough protein. The more balanced your diet is, w/the right amount of carbs, proteins, & fats, the better you'll feel. AND the more you get those things from healthy sources, the better you'll feel. When I was younger I could eat whatever I wanted & not gain, but I did NOT eat balanced or healthy, & didn't feel good. So in a way, I'm thankful I developed a weight problem, because it made me start eating balanced & healthy & now I feel better. If trying to do that doesn't work, then I'd see your doctor & have him check for things like hypothyroidism or anemia.0

It IS allergy time of year.. Allergies can creep up on you. Google adult onset allergies. I wouldn't assume it's from weight loss. Damn sinuses.
Edit - Reread post.. You mention a flood. Are you in the same house/place? Confirm there are NO mold issues. You cannot always see mold (think inside your walls). It can live inside everything, and even minimal amounts can continuously make you sick. It doesn't need to be the bad stuff (the black mold) to reek havoc on your immune system. I dealt with it for years until I realized some of the issue.0 -
Thanks for the quick replies, i try to eat balanced and I try not to eat to many carbs I also do not live in the same place as the flood because the home was totally covered in mold. And I never thought about just plain old allergy season but I did fail to mention others around my area have gotten head colds too so maybe it is the allergies. but i remember getting sick often when I was in highscholl and in a normal weight or slightly over a normal weight so I'm not sure i may just suffer from a weak immune system or anemia etc. but thank you all (: I will have to see a doctor soon to get a check up If these problems persist0
