1. Never skip breakfast. It will stop you from eating sugary fatty snacks in late morning.
2. Plan your meals and do the shopping in advance, so you don't run out of essentials and turn into junk food when you are in a hurry.
3. Have a small snack in and between meals, ideally fruit.
4. Never let yourself get ravenously hungry. Only aim to get peckish.
5. The Golden Rule: don't ever eat. Always leave the table feeling you can eat a little bit more.

Eating Pizza without gaining weight is completely do-able. Just can't pair pizza with things like potatoe chips etc cuz that has carbs on top of carbs and it will raise your blood sugar to cause you to gain weight. If you have a smaller amount of pizza with something like a salad though then it will balance out your blood sugar keeping it stable and you will still lose weight even if eating it.0

HEY !!!!!!!! I eat pizza a lot. I also use the cauliflower pizza crust recipe and it is great. I use kale chips when I need chips and the fake French fries from green beans are WONDERFUL. There are a lot of things you can do--after all skinny people eat pizza too--just not the whole thing.0

Eh I just buy it and look at the nutrition guide and eat a proper portion. Usually 2-3 slices.0

Actually, step 5 is a big winner. If you don't ever eat, you'll definitely lose weight. The cool part is, even after you die of starvation, you continue to not ever eat, and you just keep on losing weight.

Uh, wait. How do I follow rules 1 & 3 without breaking 5...0 -

So, the end result: eat whatever the flip you want while staying within your calorie limit.

One time, I ate a meal with bread, potato chips, and Twinkies. My dog went into a coma.0 -

Or, just get the pizza and eat a reasonable amount for your calorie allowance. I don't have a whole lot of calories to spend (1400-1600), but I can still have a couple of slices of a large Grimaldi's without worrying about going over or skipping other meals.
Hint - getting a thinner crust pizza usually means you can eat more slices :P0 -

I ate pizza 3-4 times a month (still do) while losing and didn't do any of those. It didn't keep me from losing over 25 lbs.
I didn't over eat altogether, but I usually have a big dinner with dessert that leaves me feeling stuffed. Including sometimes eating an entire small pizza.0 -

Me too. I don't do anything in the original list. I often skip breakfast. I am horrible at pre planning. I eat lots of smacks including fruit but not only fruit. Sometimes I get REALLY hungry. Sometimes I eat until full (skipping breakfasts helps make this possible).0 -

I eat breakfast but you'll get argument from people who don't. Weight-loss is a highly individualized endeavor and there is a tendency to think that what works for one works for all. But unasked for advice is often not well received; especially when they are laid down as rules.0 -

Even step 1 isn't necessary. If the pizza puts you over for that day, just make sure you end up with a deficit on average.0 -
chicken and brown rice...all day everyday no pizza for me0

That sounds miserable and no one should do that to themselves.
BTW, you're not burning 750 calories an hour weightlifting. HRMs vastly overestimate calories burned during strength training.0 -
