Blood Pressure Program

I just came back onto the grid and discovered I'm running 160/80 which is about 25 points above where I thought I was normally. Coupled with a kidney problem, the doctors want me to lose and as yet unspecified amount of weight ... I said down to 175 here but we'll see and to go on a low sodium diet. This Web site looks like it's ideal for me!
I'm a regular exerciser when I'm healthy (30 minutes a day on a rowing machine and over half an hour a day walking the dog most days) so it's really a matter of getting nutrition under control. I'm 65 and normally healthy as an ox so hopefully we'll get through this recent event without anything too difficult other than nutrition and getting back on the water.

Welcome to MFP!
Sounds like you already have a fairly healthy lifestyle (minus the sodium). I hope your blood pressure and kidney issues don't cause too many problems for you.
Good luck with your journey.0
