Fitbit Calories Burned

Okay so I wear a Fitbit that is integrated with my MFP account
According to Fitbit I burn about 2,000 calories each day and my calorie goal for MFP is 1200. I want to maintain a 500 calorie deficit everyday and that's about and 800 calorie deficit. So should I be eating 300 more calories to maintain the 500 calorie deficit? I burn about 300 calories on my daily run, which Fitbit accounts for I assume.

    Yes, eat those calories!

I have a BodyMedia Fit and I use it to tailor my eating to my activity. Yesterday I burned 2700 calories (I gardened for 8 hours), so woo hoo! Mexican with all the cheese and sour cream!

Both Fitbit and MFP have options to set you up to a 500 cal deficit. But once they are set up to that, Fitbit should be transferring those extra cals you've earned to your MFP food diary so you should see an increase of your cals for the day of what you can eat. Eat them up :)

Configure the deficit in MFP, and sync Fitbit and MFP.

Your steps get synced to Fitbit, then to MFP, and the excess calories get added to your calorie goal in MFP. Shoot for that number, done.
