Well, I just wanted to share a small success story - even though I haven't reached "full" success in this journey, I still have a lot to be happy about. A little over a month ago, I decided I had enough. I weighed over 250 pounds, depressed, sad, unhealthy and most of all, lost. Eating was the only comfort I could find, but it was also killing me. So, along with my fiance, I decided to embark on a life journey that has proven to be the best experience ever. I started with just walking 30 minutes a day and tracking religiously on MFP. Then we joined the gym and started jogging. Oh the pain! With increased endurance, I can now run 2 miles in 20 minutes.
This was me on August 5th at 252 pounds (I'm about 5'7)
This is me on September 14th at 230 pounds
My goal weight is 160 pounds - there is a lot left to do, but I am SO proud of this small victory. I feel better in the clothes I wear. I am excited to work out, I enjoy eating better. My life feels fuller. Tracking my food and exercise on MFP gave me the accountability I needed! Happy journey to every one out there!!

All progress is wonderful progress - regardless of the timeline. I've gone overboard with my workouts though (6 days a week in the gym) - so I'm sure my rapid weight loss can be attributed to all the high intensity training I've been doing.0 -
