How much strength training a week in order to get cut? I want to get cut by the end of October. Right now I am skinny fat and it should be just as easy as losing 20 pounds because I can lose 20 pounds doing cardio alone and get cut. Also please correct me if Im wrong does it take more time to lose fat than losing weight?

Start with 2 sessions of 30 mins a week on a weight that tires you after 10 reps and build it up gradually. Too much too soon will injure you.
And have some patience. 7 mins is not enough time to be bumping your own thread. You'll need that patience for lifting weights as well.0 -
Look at stronglifts 5x5. It takes about an hour to do a full body workout. My wife and I started this and are in our 5th week. We have seen many gains since starting. Also check out the forum Eat, Train and Progress. It has quite a bit of info and Sara and Sidesteel know their stuff.
Great program for a beginner!
Good luck!0
