If I saw my child 8 hours out of a 168 hour week dang right we are going to spend that time doing fun stuff and being out and about. We would probably even go to a place like McDonalds where she could spend some time on a play place, personally my favorite sound is my kid laughing and having fun. As far as the being concerned about the weight and medicines I can't imagine how a parent could not be concerned. Legality be damned, I care what is being given to my child. That lady was a berating horses azz. By the sounds of it he was there because he was concerned that the child was found unattended and locked out her apartment. Then he gets his butt chewed for showing his concerns.

I got about 4 minutes through it before I had to turn it off because the guy was annoying and full of *kitten* and the chick was a bit of a b*tch.
What is this about? And why do you care?
The b*tch was right by not agreeing with him for telling a developmentally delayed child that the medication she is taking could have such and such side effects when he doesn't even know what the medication is, nor what it is for. He wants to know what medication she is on.... why not ask the mother? Or Pediatrician? Why not have a discussion with THEM about the possible side effects? :noway:0 -

There are so many issues with this. For starters it is father's rights which are usually none.
Essentially his daughter has been gaining weight 20 lbs over a short period of time. Well she was dancing and her heart was hurting. That is when the father found out that the daughter was on medication. So he tried to find out what she was taking since the court, the ex, DHS, did not tell him. Then the DHS workers said that regardless of what she takes he has no rights to know what it is, it could be birth control pills, vitamins, etc.
Then they talked about what the child is eating to gain 20 lbs at home. His concern for his daughter being locked out of the house, again the DHS worker told him not to be concerned about it. The over weight DHS worker was telling the father what and what not to feed his child.0 -
This is so frustrating to watch. This dad seems like he is wanting what's best for his daughter and is concerned. And this chick is crazy!0

Wow. A 7 year old weighing in at 103 lbs?? That's ridiculous. I have a 7 year old, and she doesn't weigh anywhere near that. Apparently this is none of his concern. Interesting... It's a shame that a father actually gives a damn about his kid, and is being treated like a villain. While I disagree with the Mcdonnalds and soda's he gives her. She argues with him for a good 5 mins about the sugar content in soda, then suggests juice. Which also has sugar. :noway:0
