I'm just curious as to how many exercises strength trainers do per body part? Like for legs you have the narrow stance hack squat and regular stance hack squat plus a few more others. I'm just wondering if I'm cramming too much in a workout. I usually last about 65 minutes in the gym each day just on strength training
What do you recommend for Bulking?

For mass, typically 2 exercises per body part.

It doesn't take many sets to stimulate hypertrophy (muscle growth). After about 4 sets per muscle group, the benefits start to decline and the risk of injuries goes up. For bulking, i would do 4 heavy sets for legs, and 3 for chest, upper back, and shoulders. Repeat every 3 days.

I bulked for many years. I use to do 2 exercises 3-4 set of 8-12 reps per muscle. When I could easily pop that 12 rep, I would increase weight.

I would alternate my exercises too. Concentration curls once, hammer curls the next time I worked biceps. That sort of thing.

You didnt specify who you chose to have answers from so i will give my 2 cents of what i do.

I try to do a different body part or 2 a day. Today was chest/triceps day:

bench presses , push ups , flat bench and incline bench flys

tricep dips assisted and not, tricep ( close grip) bench presses , skull crushers, cable tricep presses

So for me its usually 4-5 per body part and i spend an hour strength training with 3 sets of 10-15

I usually add ab work in between sets to give my arms a rest if they are getting tired.

Thanks for responding. Women are just as equal as men and can do anything we can the same or even better. I also add in crunches in between sets to rest my arms lol.
