I have a bunch of ground turkey I need to use and usually cook it in Burritos, Taco's, Homemade meatball's, Baked Ziti, things of that nature as a substitute for ground beef, does anyone have any actual ground beef recipies? Do they even exist, lol? I guess I just would like a little change when using ground Turkey!

I used ground turkey for chili this weekend. Ground turkey, onion, and green pepper cooked together, then cover with water and simmer 30 minutes. Then add a can of beans (I use Williams chili beans) and two cans of diced tomatoes (I used "chili tomatoes"), 2 Tbs chili seasoning (Williams again), 1 Tbs salsa, and simmer for a bit to let the flavors combine. I usually use hamburger but I actually liked this more.
I don't know any actual Turkey recipes.0 -

You can really use it in anything you use ground beef in, just be careful because ground turkey is actually just as caloric as lean ground beef, but ground turkey BREAST is really what you want to use.
I make turkey chili alot, there are tons of recipes out there for it.
Another easy one is just throw together a skillet meal, with ground turkey breast, onions, peppers, scrambled eggs, potatoes diced really small, throw some fresh spices in there like cilantro, it is very filling and delicious.0 -
I too use it in chili - and it's awesome in Manwich if you like that0

I use it anywhere I use ground beef.
I just made taco soup with it. Ground turkey browned with garlic and onions. Throw it in the crock pot with some rotel, beans, corn, taco seasonings and ranch dressing mix. I use 2 cans of rotel and 3 cans of beans. Then I cover with water and let it simmer all day. It is heaven!
I will also use some ground turkey, add some beef consomme and make a gravy, then throw that on some egg noodles with some corn - very good.0 -

Yep just made some homemade chili similar to your recipe last night since it was nice and cold out! Cold weather= Hot chili! Yumm!0 -
I second turkey burgers! Rachel Ray has a really great recipe called "Turkey Loco Burgers" in one of her books. Get the leanest turkey you can find and mix it with diced onions, cumin, oregano, paprika, garlic, etc. Also add a little hot sauce (if you like) to the meat, form into patties and grill. either make some homemade guacamole or buy Wholly Guacamole and top the burgers with that. It's very reasonable and SO delicious!0

Try a meat pie, sounds wierd, but its yummy.
Mix the ground beef (or turkey) as you would for meatloaf, I use 1 egg per pound (whites only if you want healthier) a packet of plain quick oatmeal, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, crushed garlic and a little salt and pepper. Press the meat mixture in the bottom of a baking dish (brownie pan, casserole dish, etc.) like a pie crust.
Fill the center with cheese and chopped veggies, I use summer squash, onion and black olives, and bake at 350 unit the center starts to bubble.
The cheese can be high fat/cal depending on the type you use, but its a great dish for a cold autumn day. Serve with biscuits if you want to add carbs.0
