Food logging question

Is there a way to delete foods from your recently used selection? I have some foods in there I know I will not need again but can't find a way to delete them from the list. I don't want to sort through pages of foods I won't need to log again. TIA!

    When you click on "add food," you can put a check mark next to the items you want to delete, then click "delete from list" at the bottom of the screen.

    I am not seeing a "delete from list" button. I have an "add checked" button at the top and bottom of my list :/

    Look over to the right at the bottom of your list.

    That works on frequent tab only and they still remain in your recent list
