Possible to lose 4 lb in just over a week?!

Hiya, I've just joined just over a week ago and love being able to keep track of my calorie intake ... I think I've finally found the answer to dieting and staying on track! Anyway my question is this: is it possible to lose 4lb in the first week?! I haven't changed that much of my diet, just avoiding snacking, eating a healthy breakfast and eating more fruit! I weighed 154lbs when I first started and am 5"5. :)

  • definitly possible....especially in that first week of eating clean. Remember, alot of it is water and not "weight" or fat.
    I lost 5 lbs my first week. Just keep sticking to what you are doing..stay within your calorie total and remember, in a couple of weeks, it's normal to lose 0.5-1.5 lbs a week. I have prepped my mind that in a couple of weeks it will slow down....that's normal!

  • Thank you !! I had a feeling it would be mostly water weight :) I can't believe how much I used to eat before this calorie count has definitely made me realise :o

    Fat weight? No... Muscle/Water/Fat? Perhaps, though unlikely...
