Denial, Acceptance, Change. Can I keep it up?

Hello, I'm Amanda (23 years old) and I'm new here. As probably many of you have also experienced, I have been in complete denial of my weight gain! I eventually started buying bigger clothes and making excuses but I'd like to say that I am DONE. I've accepted it and am taking the next step forward in changing my lifestyle, health, and appearance.

The only problem is that I'm scared of falling back into the "I can't do this" rut after a good solid week or so of trying. That tends to be my pattern :/

If anyone else needs someone to stay motivated and wants to keep me accountable as well-let's be friends! I'm going to start by setting some attainable goals to be achieved by Halloween.

Hi Amanda! I wouldn't be too hard on yourself, seriously. I have had issues with that pattern too, which is why I never liked taking before pictures. I always thought I would just fail after a week. Take it day by day! Find your greatest motivations and use them to push you forward. :--) It seems like you've got goals on your mind and if you seriously put effort and discipline into it you'll reap the benefits from your hard work!
