Skipping Meals

Is it okay to skip a meal, let's say lunch or dinner if you still feel full and not genuinely hungry. I mean I don't want to slow down my metabolism, just wondering.

Thanks

There is nothing wrong with skipping meals as long as you are still meeting your calorie and nutrition profiles. I don't really have set meal times (I'm a student and I work, so I eat when I hungry and when I can), so I consider it delaying meals not skipping them.

Skipping meal times are fine, not eating your min required cals is not.

Ok thank you guys. It's just I know that, well I heard that your body goes into starvation mode and hoards fat? And then your metabolism gets slowed down.

Nope, don't worry about that. Complete myth in this context.

At our home we don't skip meals we need to keep ourselves feeling full so we don't binge eat. It is important to feel full and keep the sugar levels balanced.
