Skipping Meals

Is it okay to skip a meal, let's say lunch or dinner if you still feel full and not genuinely hungry. I mean I don't want to slow down my metabolism, just wondering.
Thanks

There is nothing wrong with skipping meals as long as you are still meeting your calorie and nutrition profiles. I don't really have set meal times (I'm a student and I work, so I eat when I hungry and when I can), so I consider it delaying meals not skipping them.0

Skipping meal times are fine, not eating your min required cals is not.0

Ok thank you guys. It's just I know that, well I heard that your body goes into starvation mode and hoards fat? And then your metabolism gets slowed down.0

Nope, don't worry about that. Complete myth in this context.0 -
At our home we don't skip meals we need to keep ourselves feeling full so we don't binge eat. It is important to feel full and keep the sugar levels balanced.0
