Does anyone here do Zumba and do you know about how many calories one would but for 50 minutes?

I've used my HRM during Zumba and it's about 400 calories for me.
  • I enter it as "modern dance" -- I think it's topic under cardiovascular and that's about right 350 to 400 calories for 50 minutes.

calorie range is about 400 calories for 55 minute class ..............Spinning because it has more intensity, will burn 600-800 calories for 55 minute class... also spinning is easier on your joints

it can depend a whole lot on how much you put behind it. I've burned over 700 once but as little as 300.

I just returned. I used to burn 400-450 - as I lose weight and learn all the moves it has gone down to 350 for me. Teaching styles vary - I like the dance instructors vs the bouncy, boucy instructors! Better for my bum knee.
