25lbs down

I have lost 25lbs since I started the end of May, I am really proud of my progress, but I can't tell that I have lost anything, I can't tell my clothes are really any loose, I did buy a size 18 the other day that was lose so I was excited about that because the last pair of jeans I bought were 20s but then I looked and they were 18W so then the excitement went away some I have lost a few inches in my belly neck and hips but I just don't see where 25lbs has gone from

You can't choose where your body will lose the weight first. I'm glad you said you were proud of yourself because some people get too frustrated and lose sight of that. The scale isn't lying to you. I am glad you are keeping track of the inches too- that is a great tool. I don't know what your starting weight was but remember that a 25lb loss on a 200lb person is not going to show as much as 25lbs on a 150lb person.

You are doing great. Just gotta keep going!

Well done, 25lb is a great loss. Don't give up !! It's very frustrating but remember you didn't put the weight on over night and you won't lose it overnight either.

25lbs! That is great! Don't lose heart! I have just looked at your split pic on your profile...is that a before and now shot? You look like you've lost there! I have been on here for nine months and lost 18 lbs, but been up and down! So well done you!

It took me 3 years to lose 30lbs so 25 since May is fantastic! Let it motivate you and keep you going. Eventually you will see the results. Have you taken any before photos? If not do it now front, back and side. Mirrors lie because our own perception goes into them.

I think your doing fantastic....If I could lose 25 pounds in that time i'd to cartwheels ( i'd even learn)!

Congrats..take some pictures along the way. It really helps. When I lost the first 10 lbs I did not really see a difference but my family thought I lost almost 20..so who knows

I found that it sometimes takes time for your body shape to catch up to your weight loss. There were period where I lost 10+ pounds and no one noticed and then over the course of one or two days I looked different. 25 =pounds is amazing! Well done.

I understand where you're coming from. I've lost almost 40 this year, and I don't see it. My friends and family didn't notice until I'd lost over 30... but now they say I look like a new person. Keep at it. You're doing great.

Good for you - that is amazing. I was a size 18-20 when I started - my first 20 when I lost my big amount were my face, chest (yup - lots in the chest - in total I went from a 40 DD to a 32 A+ - not quite a B), and feet. I also noticed the tummy fat start to break down (if that makes sense) - from smooth to the "cottage cheese" look. For me, the big size drops started to happen in the next 20-30.

I think I notice the cottage cheese thing in my thighs getting better but Idk if im just wishful thinking, sometimes I think I can notice small things and sometimes I am like no maybe not, and I had took a break from running and lost 2 lbs but it seems like when I run/exercise the weight just doesn't come off

You are on your way...feel proud. The scale isn't lying..you're losing weight. It just is coming off first in places that reflect your clothes size yet. Maybe your upper arms, calves..face..neck. Y ou just can't choose where you lose first and in what order.

Also..the opposite happens as well....you can be getting smaller and clothes are loser but the scale doesn't move.

Both things are frustrating..but it shows why it is silly to get discouraged because in both cases progress is being achieved.

Great job so far and to everyone reading this.....please please please take pictures. You might not think you can see the loss but each month put your pictures side by side and all of a sudden you will SEE it. Take pictures....you won't regret it! Congrats on the progress so far!

25 pounds is still awesome. Usually we're our own harshest critics & sometimes have a hard time noticing the changes with our body during weight loss. Keep up the great work.
