how much do you burm at a body pum class?

ive just signed up for this to help keep track.. does anyone no how many calories you burn in a body pump class of 60 mins? really dont no how to add it to my profile thing :/:smile:

    it depends.

    just search for calisthenics in the database and go from there.

    it's not steady state cardio so the HRM isn't really gonna be accurate, and unless you're the OP.. or have the exact same build/age/height/weight/fitness level, your reading isn't gonna be accurate for them.

    Use the "circuit training" entry in the cardio section. It's going to be a rough estimate and you can adjust for how much exertion you apply.

    The problem with a HR monitor in Body Pump is your HR is responding to a mix of Volume Load (which the HRM is designed to measure) and Pressure Load (which it's not designed to measure).

    So either way you are really just getting an estimate.
