Hip Bursitis and Scoliosis

My scoliosis never seemed to bother me till recently and I have been suffering from hip bursitis for quite some time. my doctor prescribed me to Naproxin (he also suggested other meds but I refuse to take anything hardcore) I have taken only 4 pills of it in the last year and it always eats up my stomach, same with ibuprofen. Does anyone else suffer from Hip Bursitis and or Scoliosis and do you have any special ways of dealing with the pain? thank you!
