Are you suffering from "Unignorable Sweet Tooth Syndrome" too? For some of us our cases are very mild and we only show symptoms once a month, usually accompanied by what we like to call here on MFP as dun da da TOM. *lightining striking, loud thunder* . For others this is a battle we fight everyday...
I fortunatly only have a very mild case, one that only rears it's ugly head around a certain time of the month. Since I started my journey in April of this year I have come up with a few yummy, easy, cheap (not too unhealthy) sweet snacks that successfully (temporarely) subsides any "Unignorable Sweet Tooth Syndrome" symptoms until the next outbreak:laugh:
Please feel free to share your's too:flowerforyou:
Here are my "temporary cures"
**Sugar Free Strawberry (Jell-O)
Serving Size: 1 snack (92g); Calories: 7, Total Fat: 0g, Carbs: 0g, Protein: 1.3g
I'll mix in any type of fruit, for instance some Bing cherries .I grew up in Cherry Valley so I'm a HUGE Cherry lover I'll usually cut up 3 or so in half or four ways
Serving Size: 1cherry weighing appx. 6.8g; Calories: 4, Total Fat: 0.01g, Carbs: 1.09g, Protein: 0.07g
If I'm feeling really wild:laugh: I'll top it off with Cool Whip Sugar Free Whip Cream (Kraft)
Serving Size: 2 tbsp.; Calories: 20, Total Fat: 1g, Carbs: 3g, Protein: 0g
(Without whipped cream) Total calories: 22 (with whipped cream) Total Calories: 42
**Sugar- Free Chocolate Pudding (Jell-O)-
Serving Size: 1 Snack (106g); Calories: 60, Total Fat: 1.5g, Carbs: 14g, Protein: 2g
If that's not enough texture then I like to crunch up a Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookie (Nabisco) and mix it in
Serving Size: 1cookie; Calories: 53, Total Fat: 2.6g, Carbs: 7g, Protein:
Total calories: 113
**My all time favorite when I have a sweet tooth is this-
Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding
Serving Size: appx. 1 snack/ 99g; Calories: 60, Total Fat: 3g, Carbs: 11g, Protein:

Really? I'll have to look for those! I get the sweet tooth, but cannot stand sugar-free anything!0 -

Even with sugar there's only a 30-60ish calorie difference, still not bad!0 -
Another good one is 100 calorie packs of chocolate covered pretzels. You only use 100 calories, yet you get that need satisfied for the taste of chocolate! :flowerforyou:0

I also love to make sugar free, fat free chocolate pudding & use the Cool Whip free
Skinny Cow vanilla no sugar added ice cream sandwiches = 140 calories, 5g sugar & 5g fiber
(this has Splenda in it.. some don't like to use Splenda)0 -

Oh I don't mind Splenda every once in a while, don't use it as much as I use Stevie now but I was using Splenda before last month. . . all the while loosing weight still no biggie. I'm gonna give the sandwiches a try, thanks!0 -
Yeah, I was going to make the switch from splenda to stevia, but when I was pregnant, stevia wasn't an approved sugar substitute for prego women; but splenda is. So, I've just stuck with the splenda.0

Thanks for the post! I usually don't like sugar-free options since I'm not a fan of the sugar substitutes, but even using the sugar-version of these ideas would be a semi-low calorie and very satisfying treat.
My favorite Sweet Tooth Syndrome fixer is to eat what I want in all it's sugar and fattening glory... but only have a serving or half a serving, depending on what it is.
I'm definitely on the lookout for some "healthier" options though.0
