Advices on weight loss

Hi, I am a 24 years old full-time student studying in Singapore. As my school schedules is quite tight and I have to work on weekends, I seldom have time for exercising and have been relying on cutting down my calories intake and eating more healthy. Will it be better if I get back to exercise for weight loss?

I am trying to get device on counting the amount of calories lose for exercising? Any recommendation?

Thank you.

If you are doing some walking while on campus and at work that will help. Be careful not to go to low on your daily caloric intake because that will put your body in starvation mode and that's not healthy.
Take the stairs, run to your car, squeeze in 10 minutes of aerobics, run in place any thing to get your heart rate up. Hope this helped. Keep pressing toward you goals, you can't be stopped.

If you dont have much time for working out, you can try doing some HIIT which usually last for 15-20 mins. If you do HIIT, I would not recomend doing it on an empy stomach.

This might sound dumb, but what is HIIT?!

I believe from experience that you cannot outwork a bad diet. So, eating healthy with lots of veggies high in potassium will make a huge difference in weight loss. Having a goal to walk 10k steps/day makes a huge difference in weight loss, too.

Weight loss is all about burning more calories than you consume, period. You won't get a super muscular physique with 6 pack abs without exercise, but you can certainly lose weight without it.

If you're doing a lot of walking during the day, be careful with a 1300 calorie diet. Chances are good you burn quite a bit more than that throughout the day and under eating can stall weight loss and cause long term issues. It also makes it harder to keep the weight off when you reach your goal and go back to eating more. You may be better off figuring out your TDEE and just cutting 10-20% off of that number. That way, you're eating at a deficit, but not risking under eating.

I have done calculation for my TDEE and It stated that I required 1500+ calories if I am doing exercises and I required 1300+ caloriesfor diet without exercises.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your height/weight?
