How to eat Healthy while on vacation?

I'm 20 5 ft 2 currently on a bulk every time I go on vacation I fall off the wagon with my fitness.

The thing is my parents don't eat clean at all and neither do my grandparents were going to South Carolina for a week in October to see my sister graduate army boot camp.

And I know will eat out so it going to be hard were also going to be stopping in Nashville for some sight seeing.

My biggest fear is falling off the wagon I've sworn to myself I will never in my life pick up a soda or a bad juice to drink again but it going to be hard to drink water that whole week. Any help?

Also I'm afraid I don't like to eat fast food and my family kind of makes fun of me when i eat really healthy.

Like today I ate fast food because I was hanging with old friends from high school.

I will be on my cut in October so I'm afraid of falling off the wagon because that what happen last time.

Any help?

Actually probably easier to eat healthy when you're eating out, if your family doesn't cook healthy. There's always grilled chicken or fish and veggies, or salads. And fast food has healthy choices as well. And you can just fill your cup at the tap instead of drinking soda and juice... It seems you're looking for excuses. Just say no and make healthier choices (or eat less of the unhealthy stuff).

When I am taking a trip I add of all my calories up even if I go over and try to start fresh the next day. If I know I am having fast food I look up the calories before I go out so I know what to order and my other meals are lighter and cleaner.

I am eating out at a restaurant tomorrow, night. I am going to skip lunch, and I am hoping a starter, and a main course will cover my daily requirement.

I have travelled and had no problems eating out. Most hotels have continental breakfasts that are healthy. I have my tea or water and a hard boiled egg and piece of fruit, or a half bagel and cream cheese or preferably peanut butter. I also always have healthy snacks with me (cut veggies, string cheese, babybel cheese, jerky) - its easy to pack a small cooler. Most gas stations have healthier options too.

For fast food, I'm able to pretty much eat wherever. There are side salads, childrens menus, etc to select from.

Restaurants - stay away from fried, sauces, gravies, etc. Opt for lean protein (fish, chicken) that is grilled, the veggies over potato, skip the bread, for salads ask for their low fat dressings or better yet, basalmic vinegar or lemon to dress it.

Drink plenty of water during the trip. It may be hard because of potty stops, but it will keep you feeling full and satisfied. Also, keeping well hydrated is great for you and very necessary when traveling.

As far as giving up pop or juice, never say never. I also gave them up, but if I crave a small taste, I have it. And then I realize that I no longer enjoy the taste. All things in moderation.

This sounds terrible, but I consider my vacations a free-for-all as soon as I'm at my destination. A week won't kill me as long as I can pick it back up afterwards, and I stay pretty active on vacation doing stuff like hiking and kayaking. In transit, though, I'm all about the grilled chicken fast food salads. Burger King and Culvers make the best salads.

If you don't have healthy options opt for small portions and go armed with some raw almonds, trail mix or some fruit. If your family make fun of your weight loss measures simply say you aren't happy being fat and want to change that by losing weight.

I went to Italy for two weeks last summer, and although I ate every meal out, and lots of gelato and pastries, I didn't gain a pound. My main goal was to make sure every meal was balanced: I would have vegetables, fruit, grains, and protein at least three times per day each. I was also very physically active on vacation because we were always walking around and sightseeing. Don't stress about it too much, but stick to a couple guidelines to ensure you don't get too off-track.

If you're on a bulk, just eat as much as you'd like provided that you're getting enough protein.

    Exactly...
    Healthy vacation foods include:
    Steaks
    More Steaks
Anything else made out of meat.
