    I can nOT post my new favorites thanks to tech issues. If anyone wants to link my profile pic.... Nothing really grasps how much being able to do chin ups means to me. I could not do it as a child and couldn't do it as an adult. I remember oohing and ahhing and asking women who could do it how it is possible. I really believed I never could have the upper body strength....

    After I joined MFP, one day I just did one. It was like I saw an alien- I was in disbelief. I made my bf take a video so I had proof. And I did it again. And I started doing them all the time. And even now I still have a sense of awe when my chin goes over the bar. I am reminded of how what I perceive as a physical and definitive limitation is no barrier to my success because I can do chin ups, dammit! And that speaks for itself!!!!
