Disneyland

Hey everyone. Just a quick question for those who have been to Disneyland lately....I've never been. I'm supposed to go in November and it occurred to me the other day that I may not fit into some of the rides... :( So, people who are taller and larger in size, have you had problems fitting into any rides at Disneyland/CA Adventure????? I LOVE roller coasters and all kinds of fun rides, but am thinking about postponing the trip for a few months to give me more time to lose weight (I'm just starting my journey).

Any words of wisdom???

5'10" 295lbs. Size 22

Thanks so much!!!!!! :)

  • First off, I'm jealous!! Second, GO! I was about 280 and size 22 when I went a couple years ago,(im 5'8) i fit in everything just fine including Space Mountain, California Screaming', Big Thunder. I was so worried about fitting, but i didn't have any problems or embarrassing situations. Google 'pooh sized' Disneyland and you will find lots of info on different Disney oriented sites. Have fun!

Space Mountain could be awkward, but you should be ok on everything else. I go to DL and WDW a lot and carry my weight in my stomach (I'm a true apple). With Space Mountain, it's not so much that you won't fit, it's loading and unloading the ride and being comfortable.

    Go and have fun!
  • I haven't been to Disneyland but I go to Disney World every year. The rides are pretty much the same. I'm currently a size 18 nudging a 20. The only problem that I have w/ rides is Space Mountain. It's really hard to get in and out of when you are larger. I fit just fine it's only the loading and unloading part.
  • I've never had any trouble with Space Mountain. The old Matterhorn was...difficult to me, and the new seats are a bit uncomfortable but doable. Try to avoid the front one though, no leg room.

The Goofy Flight School or whatever it was called was uncomfortable for me as well but doable as well if you feel the need.
