I'm still overweight according to the BMI charts, but I'm proud of who I am and where I've come from.

Inspiration comes in all shapes and sizes.

Yep. The thing I like about this thread is that it isn't fitness models posed to look like they did something and then photoshopped to make them look perfect, and then stamped with some cheesy Hallmark saying.

These are real people and their real struggles and triumphs.

My eyes look terrible because my allergies have kicked in, I have no makeup on because I was running and didn't plan on taking a photo of myself. I wanted to smooth my skin on the photo editing site, even the bruise on my leg, but I didn't, this is real life.

This is the one that made me cry.... because of so much truth in it.

I was looking at my Insanity pic,,,,,the one I took after my first session....and was thinking to myself, "Release The Beast" (ya know, cuz I was pretty pumped at finishing it still standing), and I saw this pix you posted. :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

I've only been here at MFP for a few weeks.

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, only that I need to make some changes, and I needed the accountability MFP provides.

What has happened, that I did not at ALL expect, was to get teary eyed, to have my heart swell with pride, on a daily basis, for the accomplishments of people that I don't know.

It usually comes when I read the success stories, but this thread is a non stop inspirational festival of misty eyed amazingness (yeah, that's a word!)

Seriously, you guys are incredible! Thank you for being YOU!
