I have a name rather than a picture that inspires me, because she went through a similar lifestyle change that I'm going through now. That woman is Tosca Reno. She was overweight once too, took charge of her life and now look at her. Never mind just the magazine pics, just in general. She's my reason for losing the weight I have on now once and for all!!! :bigsmile:1

One thing about this site is that people often come here looking to lose weight, and instead it is what they find instead that is the most important thing.
I wanted to lose that last 10 pounds.
Instead, I made some of the best friends...
I have learned so much about myself, and that people WILL love me if I am real, and flawed, and open and honest.
And most importantly, I became friends with the man that I ended up falling madly for...
It's not what I've lost here... It's all that I've found!

:flowerforyou:For us non techies, what's the best way to add text to a picture?
And thanks to all for contributing. I love this thread.
there are many ways you can do it...
Some open the pic in MS Paint and add text there (I'm not a fan because I find it cumbersome)
Some open the pic in MS Word, overlay a text box, and then screen shot and save it as a jpg
Some do it in MS Powerpoint
Some have apps that they've downloaded to their phone that lets them do it
Once you've got the image, upload it to an online photo manager (like photobucket - it's free) and then insert the URL for the image here
but use lowercase img
Worst case scenario... ask a bud to help you out.
ps... I'm a bud
Thanks, :flowerforyou: I may take you up on it. I'm going to try and see if I can pull one off myself, always good to learn a new skill. I want to use my profile pic of my first 5K yesterday0 -

Love this thread. One more entry for me....

I started running and boxing because of a LOT of internal pain and struggle. With each mile I ran, and every hit I threw, a bit of me healed.
Again... it's more than the weight that you lose...

OK, I hate singling people out because every single post here is beyond awesome. But awwwwwww.
(it might have something to do with 1.) I am a dog person (see nickname) 2.) I love running with dogs (see nickname) and 3.) I have a chocolate lab. Oh and 4.) that pic is adorable.0 -
Thank you Deeva for creating this for me.
Its funny because i am very hesitant to post this. We are so quick to criticize ourselves, it feels foreign to compliment ourselves.
YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -
