Weight isn't everything

In the left picture I'm 211, the only thing I was not exercising . In the right picture I'm 202 but I have been lifting for almost a month. The pictures are three months apart, I had my gallbladder removed shortly after the first picture so on paper the weight loss is minimal and a bit disheartening. Then I look at these pictures and realize that scale isn't everything :)

The difference is amazing !! My boss who is alittle bit of an inspiration to my exercising habits says he finds the best gauge of weight loss to be the feel of certain items of clothing and how much better they fit when the inches drop off even if it's not pounds that drop off !! U have clearly dropped a lot of inches well done ;-)

You are absolutely right!!!! I have a great scale that tells me the % of water, % of muscle, and the % of fat. I pay MUCH MORE attention to these numbers rather than the pounds number.

You look so much more fit! Those c-section areas, well, I've decided that I don't have to be so perfect. My body did an amazing thing by carrying my son. But fit and healthy is something I can achieve, and that's what I'm going for. And if I still have a little c-section showing, well, it's a good reminder of what's really important in life. And I'm pretty sure that a perfectly flat stomach wouldn't top the list for me, anyway. A healthy baby ranks higher, even if the surgery leaves a permanent mark.

I totally agree! I just wished people would realize its hard for my tummy o get flat down there! I feel so awkward because its evenote notice when I have my shirt up, but its just something I'm going to have to get over. :) Thank you everyone for the compliments.
