Would someone mind looking at my food diary? I'm trying to make sure that I am understanding my NET Calories and the deficit. I want to ensure that I'm not eating back too much. (Yes I understand not all my choices are all that great...)

Looks good to me, not eating back all of your calories (especially since MFP tends to over-calculate the calories burned while exercising).
Although be careful on days that you consume too few, such as last Saturday.

I like that you meet/go over your protein, and tend to stay under your carbs. Great job!!!

If you're not diabetic, I'd recommend editting your macros:
    Track 'fiber" instead of 'sugar'.

    Then meet/go over your fiber.
Fiber helps you feel full, and less hungry later on.
Fiber helps everything 'move along' in your GI track.
Fiber helps remove cholestrol & triglycerides from your bloodstream.
Fiber slows the processing of carbs.

  • Thank you! Very much appreciated :) I'm not diabetic so I am definitely going to go and figure out how to change my macros. I do find I get most my sugar from fruit or other natural sources.

    Thank you again!

It isn't enough food to me but I need more calories to operate. I tried the 1200cal diet and couldn't do it.
