10 lbs down, a bit of motivation would help majorly!

Alrighty, due to the hectic flow of my life in the past year with a funeral, a second major heart surgery (my husband's not mine), dropping out of and re entering school, then planning the equivalent of three weddings, I really haven't had too much time to think of my weight until recently. I have only lost about 10 pounds in the past year, and though I am seeing that as a good thing, definately, I would like some advice on keeping up a healthy routine while I am a full time animation student, and I am selfish here, a bit of encouragement from total strangers to keep my big butt in the game.

just schedule time to workout, either every morning before work or every evening afterwork. giving excuses for not excercising will only stop you from progressing.
Everyone has time to workout.0 -
Are you logging your food? Just knowing where you stand can give you the awareness to avoid stuff you shouldn't eat. Within a week of starting to log stuff, I cut out pretty much all my evening snacks... unless I cut some calories somewhere else during the day.0

I'll totally make time to work out, just need some advice on what to do, because I tried doing sit ups and what not to help with my slightly larger midsection, only nothing really works for that, even though I keep it up. Any tips?
And Yes indeedy I am logging my food. Saw how much sugar a soda puts me back and pretty much cut it out of my diet completely. I also have been making and eating one single size serving of things rather than just eating until I am full like I have been doing since I was a child. That seems to help a bit too.0 -
Just imagine yourself down the road. The journey seems long, day to day, but the end result is amazing! I was just thinking to myself this morning, about how I started my weight loss/body awareness journey back in April. It's been a long and slow journey, but now I look back and I've lost 19lbs! After years of looking back, thinking "I could have lost 20lbs by now" and never doing anything to reach that goal, I can finally say I've done it.
My workouts are part of my day now. I can't do anything else after work, until I've exercised. If a plan to go out with friends comes up, I schedule my workout around it. I never skip a work out..... it's one thing that I KNOW I won't regret doing once I'm done!
You can do it, 10lbs is a lot! Keep it up!0
