Bucket Lists!!!
OK, so I know it's probably overly morbid to think of falling gracefully from this mortal world BUT I have a bucket list. Sure, I want to make sure I complete these things before I kick it (the bucket - pass on - DIE!) but a lot of them are a little more short term.
So regardless what we call it, I wanna know what everyone has on their list. What to you want to do with life? What goals do you have (weight loss or not)?
Here's a few things from mine:
- Cycle in the MS 150 - Houston - Austin TX. (It's a 150 mile bicycle ride that raises money for MS). - APril 2011
- Compete in a Triathlon
- Compete in an Aerobics comp.
- Hike to the top of a "14'ner" here in Colorado (that's a pretty big mountain for those who don't know!)
- Run the NYC Marathon
- Ride a motorcycle West to East and North to South of the U.S (and then Australia too!).
- Make it into the All Stars Roller Derby Team
- Get that Roller Derby team to Nationals!!!!
- Sit on a Beach in a remote part of the world with my Hubby.
- Complete my Personal Trainers Certificate.
- Complete my Masters in Nursing and Midwifery.
- Live in NYC for a year (and I mean Manhattan baby)... FYI: I lived in Brooklyn when my husband was stationed there and while it was cramped and crowded, I miss the sights and sounds and tastes and smells. I'd also like to do this once the kids have grown up!
- Be able to say I have been to every continent in the world.
Sooooo that's just a few things. If I wrote the whole list down we'd be here all day. I suppose this one includes some of my fitness ambitions too (since it's relevant to the site).
So... What are yours????

I have an autoimmune disease, or maybe two, my doctors can't make up their mind, and for a while (Before I started eating healthy and exercising!) I was REALLY sick and I honestly thought I wouldn't live long, so I figured I should make a very serious bucket list. That is why the first two on my list are so serious/lovey dovey.
Help someone.
Tell family and friends how much I love them and how much they mean to me.
Hot air balloon ride.
Visit a giant aquarium.
Chicago/New York trip - for pizza comparison.
See my first ever beach/ocean! (Stinkin' Missouri, where ARE your beaches?!)
Tour Jelly Belly jelly bean factory.
Go to a concert.
I have a few others, but like you I don't want to be here all day. Luckily a few of them are weight-loss rewards!0 -
Buccinator, it sounds like you need to get your butt out here to Seattle! Get your aquarium crossed off and see the ocean! Not to mention all the other fun things Seattle/Washington has to offer! You could even get your concert crossed off while you're here!0

Take a month long vacation visiting as many national parks in the southwest, west, northwest, and midwest that I can! (I just realized that's a lot of wests!)
Go on a cruise with my husband and feel beautiful.
Get to my goal weight, maintain it, and share with the world that I have conquered my addiction to food!
And most importantly, have children.0 -
