what calories

Hi could someone help work out what calories I should be eating age 49 weight 174lb height 5ft 2 I do a cleaning job for a few hours each day I would say 60minutes is heavy cleaning every day any help apppreciated thanks in advance marie x

  • Google TDEE which is basically how many calories you burn just being alive in addition to age, weight, activity level, etc. Subtract 10 or 20% depending on how much you want to lose each week and voila! Those are your calories. I reduce mine another 100 calories just in case any sneak in while I'm not looking!

    Done that it says tdee is 1880 cals do I take 20% off that to lose 2lb a week

    Iv been on 1200 but been on hormone injections to stop estrogen in my body for 6months they finished 2 months ago and have estrogen levels have returned and have been told to have a hysterectomy but my weight has stopped losing because of the estrogen so thought I might go downto 1000 thought id ask what I should be having

    TDEE is not how many calories you burn being alive, that's your BMR.

    OP, cutting your calories lower and lower is only going to make you sick. Figure out your BMR and eat at least above that. Weigh and measure all your food for accuracy,
