The naked Truth?

Have you ever tried it? My friend just started Juicing, I can barley use a blender...I stumbled across this drink called the naked Truth at the market. It tasted pretty good i was surprised. I was wondering if any one has tried it and if they have seen any benefit from drinking it. Is it a good addition to your diet? Is it worth the $3 a bottle? It says there is no sugar added and these are the main ingrediants, it sounds good to me but im still new to this clean eatting. I do wish it had more protein though only 2g

Yep, sure have. Love those. I always think it's ridiculous how much they ask for "pure" fruit juices. I enjoy Pom myself, the 100% pomegranate juice, but those are high priced too. If you wait around long enough, Naked Truth and Pom, etc, all end up on sale at Smiths at some point.

I have a nutribullet and use fresh and frozen veggies/fruits and make my own...skin, pulp ...everything in it. So I am not just getting the "juice".

Wait - it only has 100 mg of broccoli per serving? That is 0.1 g. Or 0.0035274 ounces. That doesn't seem like very much broccoli to me! I cup of chopped raw broccoli seems to be about 100-150 g. So this is around 0.001 cups of broccoli or less.

Same for the other veggies - barely any of them in there.

It may taste OK, and drink it if you like it, but I wouldn't look to that for any sort of magic health benefits. It's just a fruit juice, really.

    Add protein powder to it.

I would look at the vitamin, nutrient and fiber content. I personally would rather eat fresh and spend less or try making something similar.

Since you wish it had more protein, maybe just try making your own smoothies and add protein powder in. It's not that hard. Even I can do it, and my cooking abilities are...eggs. And tuna salad.
