Hi All
I am on day 20 of insanity and have only lost 1lb. I have lost a couple of inches over my body though, so that's a bonus
I'm just wondering what success everyone else has had (or is having).
also, how many calories do you burn during each session of month 1?
Thanks everyone

Hi there,
I've got about 1 1/2 weeks left until I've completed month 2!!
I've not lost a lot of "weight" about 5 lbs so far but my fitness levels and body shape has changed a massive amount. Arms, shoulders, stomach, legs etc.
My cardio fitness and strength is at an all time high, I did the fit test on Monday and was able to do 50 squat pushups in a minute which would have been impossible 40 days ago.
From what I've read about other people's experiences with Insanity and my own. How much weight you lose isn't the goal, its how good you look and feel after you've completed it.
I have a heart rate monitor and in month one I would burn between 380 - 450 calories per workout not including the recovery.
Month two things get really interesting and I'm burning between 600 - 700 calories per workout . I'm 5ft 7 and weigh 152lbs, my avg heart rate per workout is around 160-170.

I completed Insanity about 2 months ago. I had a HRM and was burning about 400-600 calories in the first month and about 600-800 in the second month.
I lost about 16lbs on the program and most of it was in the second month. I did gain muscle and my overall fitness was greatly improved. So it does work you just have to give it time. I also did not follow the diet plan and started eating better the second month.
I definitely saw an overall change in my body and my endurance went up drastically so stick with the program.
I would just eat a bit more protein on the program and take the rest days. Good luck0 -
Just starting my second time with insanity. Got to week five the first time and pulled two tendons. I really enjoy the workout. The best thing is my 8 year old son also like insanity.0

Almost done with Insanity month 2 (taking short break due to some damage in my foot) and only 3lbs down, but dropped from a size 9/10 to almost my pre-pregnancy size, a 3/4. I can get them on and buttoned, but still need a few inches to fit well. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I was watching the infomercial the other day after being discouraged about the scale and most of those that lost all the weight did it with 2 or more sessions of insanity.0

I finished a couple months ago. Didn't lose any weight, but dropped 4" off my waist. Per my HRM, I burned about 500-800 in Month 1 and 800-1200 in Month 2. I definitely saw drastic changes in body shape and my endurance. I'm working on building back some of the muscle I lost during the long loss now.0

I'm starting Insanity on Monday with my sister, really excited  Lost 35lbs since Oct last year by going to the gym a few times a week and having a balanced diet, so I'm interested to see what the results will be!0

Hey how are you doing, I have completed Insanity, P90X, BodyBeast, and Les Mills is my current program. I lost 60 lbs and 10 inches on my waist doing insanity and P90X, I love the programs and what they have done for me. I used to have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety and major depression. This company has changed my entire outlook on life and would love to share any advice anyone needs from me on Insanity or any other programs. Hope to hear from anyone or feel free tomadd mee as a friend. Good luck on all of your journeys. Robert0
