Hello, How is everybody?

I have been on my fitness pal nearly six months I believe. For a while I didn't take weight loss seriously. I wanted to drop the pounds, but could never find the encouragement. Recently I made a choice in my life, one I plan to stick to. I know my dream will never come true, but I will work towards it anyway. And one of the steps I need to complete is losing fat and adding muscle. So I would like to say hello to everybody and I hope to hear more from all of you. Hopefully become good friends with a few. Not much to say about me, but if anyone has any questions or comments I would love to hear them. It's time to lose the weight!

    Hey welcome :). We have all pretty much felt insecure and not confident about ourselves due to our weight and possibly other issues. It's pretty tough in the beginning to just start to lose weight but it does get better after you take the initial step. Don't rush yourself to lose a certain amount of weight quickly, just set small goals that will keep you motivated. Take before pictures and record your body measurements. Recording measurements helps motivate you to keep going when the scale can be temperamental and piss you off at times. Remember weight loss is more of a marathon.
    Feel free to add me as a friend. I have fallen off the bandwagon once on here but my mfp friends helped to motivate me to come back.
  • Never say never. If you push yourself you can definetly reach your goals. Eat clean, stay consistent with cardio and weight trainig, and make small goals at first to continue to motivate yourself. The harder you work, the better your results. Push youself!!
