My fitbit went in the washer and came out dead....Has anybody found a way to revive it or is it done for?

Maybe stick it in a bowl of uncooked rice and let it sit?

Sometimes it works for cell phones (works on NCIS anyway!) Good luck!

This... also, I've heard good things on the fitbit forums about replacements. If rice does not work, I'd suggest contacting them directly. Depending on how old it is, it's probably still under warranty and they will hopefully offer a replacement free or heavily discounted.

Give it at least 24 hours in the rice although I'd suggest 48.

When I had the same problem, the manufacturer's advice didn't get the Fitbit One to work. After I told them that their advice had not worked, they sent me another Fitbit One without charging me!

If the drying doesn't work, contact them. I had lost mine, my own fault, drunk night, explained my situation to them, and now they are sending me a replacement free of charge. They have awesome customer service! :drinker:

Yep. Put an iphone in a bowl of rice. The rice will attract Asians who will come and fix your phone.
