Do you all log on the fitbit site and the MFP site? I am only logging on the MFP site. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Log food only on MFP. Fitbit will log your steps and move them over to MFP. I don't know where you log weight. I got an Aria scale when I got my Flex so they were both tied to MFP automatically.

One word of caution..... I also wear a HRM that counts calories and steps. the calorie count that the fitbit shows for exercise is about 20 - 25% too high in my case. So I was not losing weight at the rate that I was expecting when I started using the Flex. I use the HRM or the MFP calculations for calories burned by walking and am back to losing what I should be.

Feel free to add me as well:). I aim for 25000 steps during the week, all 10 flights of stairs and 90 minutes of high activity and 15000 on weekends and 60 minutes of high activity.. Weekday goals are always hit and mostly exceeded, weekends are my opportunity:)

Extensive FitBit stats in my MFP profile.

*Warning, I'm extreme with 'floor climbed'. I have sedentary desk job but aim for 75 floors/day on the 2 days I work onsite.

What's an HRM? Trying to keep as close to the calculations as I can. Diet's a little off these days without being able to walk normally and do cardio....so weights, upper body and abdomen are all I have for now. Knee surgery recovery is going much slower than anticipated. Otherwise absolutely love the fitbit!!!!

It is a Heart Rate Monitor. I got a cheap one and use that to eat back my calories and am back to losing weight again!
