Article debunks Dr. Oz's 15 Superfoods

There's really nothing much new here if you've been paying attention but if you question any of the debunking in the article, lots of MFPers can shower you with actual science confirming none of the 15 is a magic weight loss aid.

As the author says, Dr. Oz should be ashamed.

But... but.... but.... he's a doctor!

Just like this guy is a French model!

Yet, I am guessing the over/under on new 'Dr. Oz says eat this' threads that will pop up in the next day is 10.

    Sigh.

Thanks for posting. Good article. It's hard not to take someone who's a Doctor seriously, but we do all have to use common sense when talking about our own health. Dr. Oz isn't me and doesn't have my medical history, and it's the same thing with each viewer. I think that this show along with WebMD are kind of a scary thing to have on tap. Yes, knowledge is power, but hypochondriacs all over are "eating" this stuff up.
