NSV - heart rate

Just a quick post.

I made my lifestyle changes about two months ago and i am really pleased with progress so far.

I am eating healthily with a deficit, getting lots of cardio and strength training.

My NSV is a drop in resting heart rate from 70bpm to 57 bpm.

The weight is coming off slowly and I am in this for the long term. Thanks soooo much for everyone who posts as reading the site helps so much with motivation and advice.

Wishing everyone well and happy

Woohoo! That is a terrific improvement! Congratulations!
  • Congratulations!!!!!!! That's awesome! I successfully did the same; so i know it's not easily done. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to yourself. NICELY done!!!

Due to weight gain, I had been on blood pressure & high cholesterol medicines for 7 years. I'm now off both & have dropped my resting heart rate from about 80 (on medicine) to around 45 (last time I checked it at least).

    Keep up the good work!!

It is always good to eat and exercise your way out of taking meds!!

Keep up the dedication, it is so worth it.
